Our vision here at Lebanon Bible Church is to fulfill the Great Commission. Just before the ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ He gave one last commandment and that was to make disciples of all the nations.
Our approach in fulfilling this commandment is done in many ways:
- Reaching out to those in our community and the surrounding areas with the love of our Savior Jesus Christ.
- Sharing with others the good news of salvation through faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- Adults can learn about Jesus in Sunday School, Sunday morning worship, and Bible study.
- Children of all ages can learn about Jesus in Sunday School, Sunday morning worship, junior church, and youth groups.
- Reaching out to other states through missionaries who have been called and directed by God to start new churches, ministries or ministries that have already been started.
- Reaching out to other countries through missionaries who have been called and directed by God to reach those in foreign fields.
Our vision is to be obedient to how God directs us as a church. It is clear in Scripture that we are to be faithful in fulfilling the Great Commission. Once we grow to about two hundred people, Lord willing, we would like to start a sister church somewhere in Eastern Connecticut.
